In its 10th year of gala fundraisers, Goodwill is hosting a FAT TUESDAY STREET PARTY on Tuesday, February 24, 2009! The Party has become a Sarasota tradition, transforming Michael’s On East into Sarasota’s “Bourbon Street”.
The Goodwill Fat Tuesday Street Party celebrates in the best Mardi Gras tradition with fine New Orleans cuisine, Dixieland and Dance Band music, and street entertainers. It is a fun event that in 2008 raised $150,000, proceeds of which support job training and essential human services for the disabled and the neediest of our neighbors.
